12th Day of the third Islamic month or 12th Rabi Ul Awwal marks the date of birth of Prophet Mohammad PBUH. The day is celebrated in pakistan as a festival and all the streets, important buildings, mosques and homes are decorated with colorful lights & green flags.Special arrangements are made for recitation of poems in admiration of Prophet (PBUH) this type of arrangement is called Mehfel e naat.
